These are just basic comfortable flats, nothing more and nothing less. I got them in black and they are pretty cute and go with shorts, pants, dresses and skirts. They look silly with socks. They do run a minuscule bit big but I got them to wear while my pregnancy. It it goes whatever like my first, my feet will be swollen eggplants in a few months anyway so I will welcome the roomier size. If you can wear an 8.5 or 9 in shoes, get the 8.5.
